I use a 1 liter bottle with the oil pour spout for cooking oil in the kitchen. Over the year that I have used this, I have found that the pour spout is very difficult to clean. But, at the affordable price that it is, replacing it is just as easy - so I have bought 10 replacement spouts and am now getting on with the rest of my life....
I love the bottle and spout but be really careful of the little strainer in the spout, it's really delicate and mine broke the first time I cleaned it. I'm also having difficulty cleaning the old oil off and now it's smelling rancid.
These are great spouts and I use them on most of my bottles.
It works great just remember to wet the stem and push down while screwing it on..
I’m not interested in saving money
after storing in mason jars for years, i finally decided to try these. Wish I would have done this earlier. Very sturdy and a great looking jar. Looking forward to many years of service from these containers.
This 50ml screwtop jar is attractive and a useful size. I am deducting a star because I try hard to avoid using/touching plastic, and it has a plastic lid. Otherwise, this is an exceptionally nice gift w/ purchase :^).
I use these (100ml size) for vitamins. I don’t bother with desiccant packs, and everything stays dry and fresh just by the ground-glass on ground-glass seal. GREAT product.
I love this size apothecary jar and they look great! I put my vitamins in them, and I appreciate not having to handle the plastic or metal lids the original jars came with. This was a reorder to accommodate a new vitamin my doctor wanted me to start taking, but I am removing one star because there are two tiny sharp nubbins on the stopper that hurt my hand if I’m not careful how I grab it. Out of my four 250ml size jars, two have sharp nubbins. None of my four 100ml size apothecary jars have them.
